1. Simple Present Tense
Use the simple present to describe habits, facts, or states:
- “I live with Marsha.”
“Tôi sống với Marsha.”
– “Live” shows a current, ongoing state. - “The supermarket is at 1500 Irving Street.”
“Siêu thị ở số 1500 phố Irving.”
– “Is” shows a fact.
2. Yes/No Questions with “Is” and “Are”
Ask questions by putting “is” or “are” before the subject:
- “Is there a supermarket near here?”
“Có siêu thị nào gần đây không?”
– “Is” + “there” (subject). - “Is this Marsha?”
“Có phải Marsha không?”
– “Is” + “this” (subject).
3. Want + Infinitive
Use “want to” + a verb to express desires:
